FOTOSENCONTRADAS
¿Recuerdan haber roto, quemado o tirado fotos? A veces, un gesto poco agraciado, una vestimenta pasada de moda o la compañía de personas que queremos olvidar, bastan para decidirnos a tirar algunas de nuestras fotos. Lo mismo ocurre con las fotos de familiares con quienes ya no nos une ningún lazo afectivo o cuando el tiempo ha borrado toda referencia.

Do you remember destroying, burning or throwing away photos? Sometimes, a graceless gesture, an old fashioned garment or the company of someone we'd like to forget, are reasons enough for deciding to get rid of some of our photos. The same happens with photos of relatives with whom we are no longer sentimentally linked or when time has erased all reference.

ESTA COLECCIÓN
Todas las fotos y los objetos que se muestran aquí han sido encontradas en las calles de Buenos Aires, sobre todo en los barrios de Once y Paternal. Gran parte de ellas estaban dentro de las bolsas de residuos de los domingos, muchas otras tiradas en la vereda o en la calle o extraviadas por sus dueños.

FOTOS ENCONTRADAS es un proyecto estrictamente personal: es por eso que no hay otras fotos aquí que las que yo mismo he encontrado.		 ABOUT
THIS COLLECTION
All of the photos and objects that are shown here have been found in the streets of Buenos Aires, mainly in the neighborhoods of Once and Paternal. Most of them were inside sunday's trashbags, many others thrown on the sidewalks or on the street or lost by their owners.

FOTOS ENCONTRADAS is a strictly personal project: that's why there are no other photos here than the ones that I have found himself.

Las fotos han sido ordenadas por el tema que retratan. Para visitar las distintas secciones (RETRATOS, PAREJAS, VACACIONES, etcétera) deberá cliquear sobre FOTO GALERÍA en la izquierda. COLECCIONES agrupa aquellas series de fotos que han sido encontradas en un mismo lugar y fecha. THE ORDER
The photos have been ordered by the subject they depict. In order to visit the different sections (PORTRAITS, COUPLES, HOLIDAYS, etcetera) you should click on PHOTO GALLERY on the left. COLLECTIONS gathers those series of photos that have been found at a same place. ETCETERA contains miscellaneous photos as well as some eye-catching objects that I have also found in the street.

Se deja constancia de que todas las imágenes fotográficas exhibidas en este sitio web fueron encontradas en la vía pública en recipientes de residuos. En tal sentido y de acuerdo con el Artículo 2526 del Código Civil Argentino, tales imágenes se encuentran en la categoría de cosas abandonadas por sus dueños. De acuerdo con la legislación argentina, las cosas abandonadas pueden ser aprehendidas por quien así lo desee, siendo su sola posesión título bastante de propiedad, según el Art. 2412 del Código Civil.

No obstante ello, y ante petición expresa de la persona fotografiada o su/ s derechohabiente/ s, procederé a retirar la/s imagen/es de este sitio si tal circunstancia incomodare en modo alguno al peticionante.		 ABOUT
THE IMAGES
It is hereby settled that all the photographic images exhibited on this website have been found on public sidewalks and within trashbins. In such sense and according to Article No. 2526 of the Argentinean Civil Code, such images are considered within the category of things abandoned by their owners. According to the Argentinean laws, abandoned things can be taken by whoever desires to do it, being the sole possession enough title of property, according to Article No. 2412 of the Civil Code.

However, and after express request of the pictured person or of his/ her rightholder/ s, I will proceed to take the image/ s from this site if such circumstance could in any way be regarded as harmful to the petitioner.
